Today Robert Webb bought Sparky the Kiwi all the way from Whangarei to visit us at Fairhaven School. Sparky lost his leg in a trap when he was only 4 months old, so he is allowed to visit us and show how important it is to look after our environment.

Mr Webb told how to make sure our dogs are on leads if we go for a walk on in the bush.

Sparky is now eight years old and he gets to travel lots for a kiwi

Who says "Kiwis cant fly! " he arrived at Rororua airport yesterday!

Best of all we all got to touch a real live Kiwi!
