On Wednesday the 16th of February 40 Fairhaven children were chosen to go to "Have a go surf school " so they could learn how to surf. It was amazing how quickly people learnt how to surf. The waves were quite choppy but they gave you a challenging ride. Most people found it easy to stand up but hard to stay up on the board when it was moving.

Everyone stood up - that was easy, but most of us fell on our butts!  I caught a big as wave when the teacher through me - so it made it easy and now I can surf ! Hoani
