Fairhaven School is focused on facilitating our students’ to become 21st century learners.

We have two ICT/technology focused classes and ipads are available in each classroom.

Fairhaven  has a dedicated computer suite, with a specialist ICT teacher.

The students have a device each -laptop or desktop. While we focus on freeware – software that can be downloaded and used at home for free- Scratch is a free programming language, where you can create your own interactive stories, games, and animations. Pivot Stick – Allows children to learn stop animation, as does Pencil. Many of the  programmes used stretch our students higher thinking skills. For example; the Adobe Creative suite -this allows students to use photoshop and video editing –

Fairhaven has had a great many success through their work in the computer suite- this dates back to the establishment of the suite .
